Experience our new HVA geometry and the introduction of the new BTIC coating at the EMO trade fair.
Heat-resistant steels such as turbocharger materials rank among the supreme disciplines when it comes to thread machining. This includes the handling of alloying elements that demand a lot from the threading tool. In order to achieve process-reliable and long tool lives, BASS has addressed the specific requirements in micro and macro geometry with the newly developed HVA threading tool line.
Also at the EMO, BASS reveals cutting taps featuring the new BTIC-coating. The high-performance surface, shimmering in a noble rose gold, represents the most recent innovation at BASS. In the beginning, the new coating will remain reserved for cutting taps and is expected to enable a clear improvement in process reliability during processing.
Experience the HVA geometry as well as the BTIC-coating at the EMO stand of BASS in Hannover, stand G82, hall 4.
