It’s the smallest tap holder here at BASS: the HST SYNCHRO 10. Just like its bigger brothers, this mini tap holder reduces axial forces caused by synchronization errors.
A metal component is responsible for the compensation of ± 0,4 mm on tension and compression, which reduces abrasive flank wear. The result: a longer tool life and a higher process security.
Our smallest HST SYNCHRO comes with an ER08 collet and is designed for cutting and roll taps ranging from M1 to M3. The tap holder is clamped on its straight shank with h6-tolerance and a diameter of 12 mm. When contaminated, it can be washed at temperatures of up to 80 °C.
The special feature of the HST SYNCHRO 10: it can be shortened. The overall length of 100 mm can be adjusted down to 60 mm, so that it will perfectly suit individual applications such as avoiding interfering contours – while using standard thread cutting tools.
The HST SYNCHRO 10 is your tap holder for improved process security. It is especially used in precision mechanics, medical and electrical engineering as well as in fluid technology.
