Switch to more sustainable tool packaging
As part of our sustainability strategy, we are changing our packaging step by step. In future, the bottom part of the tool packaging will be made of 100% recycled plastic.
The new packaging is just as robust as the old packaging made from new plastic. Due to the use of plastic from household waste (“yellow bin bag”), the packaging will no longer be transparent, but dark gray in the future. The tops are still the usual shade of green.
With over 7,000 items in stock, the complete changeover to sustainable tool packaging will take some time. We therefore ask for your understanding that both old and new tool packaging will be used in one delivery. In addition, the changeover will of course be at no extra cost.
The use of packaging made from recycled materials is just one part of our efforts to achieve climate-neutral production and administration, which is also reflected in our certified environmental management system (ISO 14001). Further measures can be found at our sustainability page.
