Excellent culture of welcoming at BASS
BASS is awarded at the future prize “Main-Tauber-Kreis” for an open culture of welcoming.
On November 14th, 2014 the future prize of the Main-Tauber-Kreis was awarded for the second time. The current competition was held under the motto “culture of welcoming”. In a field of 19 well-known participants, we were able to win the second place. We are proud on this achievement and are thankful to the “Wirtschaftsförderkreis” (society for promotion of business) as sponsor as well as the judges – but especially to and for our employees who made this success possible.
With their choice, the judges praised our commitment to an open culture of welcoming. For example, we keep our employees informed about local events and festivals. In addition, new employees receive a compilation of information such as doctors, shopping facilities and leisure activities. Individual training plans and a mentor support new colleagues on incorporation and integration. A second mentor helps the new colleagues in the private integration e. g. by becoming a member of a sports club. Depending on the level of language skills, we also offer individual language training during working hours in our company.
The future prize has been launched in 2012 in order to respond with new concepts to the demographic change, which also affects the region of Main-Tauber-Kreis. The prize is awarded to companies that stand out through their commitment to employees and set a good example. Since we already could obtain the third place in the founding year of the prize with the motto “Family friendly company” we are pleased that we were able to improve our result this year. The prize encourages us to advance in the welcoming culture and to strengthen our activities.
